Scholarships
The Watertown SkillsUSA Alumni would like to provide scholarships to help students pursue their career choices related to Technology & Engineering at a post-secondary institution. We know post-secondary education can be expensive and we want to provide a little help with those costs. Please see the information below to see if you are eligible to apply, and what our timeline is for the scholarships. Applications will be available in March.
Timeline
Scholarship Applications will be available in March.
Applications due May 1st.
Scholarship Committee will review and select in May.
Scholarships will be announced in June.
Scholarship Funds to be dispersed July/August.
Eligibility
Current senior in High School
Lives less than 20 miles from the Watertown SkillsUSA Alumni corporate office.
(879 Oakwood Lane, Watertown, WI 53094)
2 year member of a SkillsUSA Chapter & currently a member.
Must have competed at SkillsUSA State Conference.
Pursuing a degree related to SkillsUSA's Career Paths
ie, engineering, manufacturing, hospitality, marketing, etc.
Accepted to a post-secondary education institution.
Funding for our scholarships is generously provided by our annual charity golf outing proceeds. Scholarship recipients will be invited to attend in the charity golf outing following their scholarship for recognition, however attendance is not required as we know school is in session during this event annually.
